Olympic Lifting

DFC CrossFit offers continuing classes where participants refine their skills in the classic Olympic style lifts: the Snatch, and the Clean and Jerk. These classes specialize in strength and skill development – allowing athletes to develop their speed, power, and flexibility, as well as coordination. Participants should either have previous experience in Olympic Weightlifting, or have taken the Introduction to Olympic Weightlifting class in order to obtain the skills required to participate in the class. Introduction to Olympic Weightlifting classes are also offered at DFC CrossFit.
