Chin Up Demo

Owner and coach Karen Ward of DFC Crossfit in Lilburn, GA demonstrates proper form for doing chin ups.

Points of performance:

1. Supinated grip (palms face body)

2. Narrower grip than for pull ups

3. Hollow body position (straight, tight, ribs in)

4. Retract, keeping everything straight and tight

5. Pull until chin is over the bar, then lower, all in a controlled motion with no extra body movement
