Our Olympic Weightlifting classes are for anyone looking to refine their skills in the classic Olympic style lifts: the Snatch, and the Clean and Jerk. These classes specialize in strength and skill development – allowing athletes to develop their speed, power, and flexibility, as well as coordination.
Participants should either have previous experience in Olympic Weightlifting, or have taken the Introduction to Olympic Weightlifting class in order to obtain the skills required to participate in the class. Introduction to Olympic Weightlifting classes are also offered at our gym.
Coach Chris provides detailed programming for each class which includes warm up activities and accessory work. Squat programming is also provided. Athletes work at their own pace in class and Coach Chris observes and provides real time feedback to individual athletes as needed.
We have CrossFit add-on memberships and Oly only memberships. Classes are 2 hours long and take place 3 times per week. We have membership options to take class 1, 2, or 3 times per week.
