Our Olympic Weightlifting classes are for anyone looking to refine their skills in the classic Olympic style lifts: the Snatch, and the Clean and Jerk. These classes specialize in strength and skill development – allowing athletes to develop their speed, power, and flexibility, as well as coordination.
Coach Chris provides detailed programming for each class which includes warm up activities and accessory work. Squat programming is also provided. Athletes work at their own pace in class and Coach Chris observes and provides real time feedback to individual athletes as needed.
Classes are 2 hours long and take place 3 times per week. We have membership options to take class 1, 2, or 3 times per week. If you are looking to become a better CrossFitter or weightlifter, DFC Barbell Club is for you!
